1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Iquitos platform (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with any of their provisions, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is intended for users over the age of 14 or those with parental consent. We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the Platform, including courses, texts, interactive maps, images, graphics, and software (the "Content"), is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and belongs to Iquitos or its licensors.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for personal and educational, non-commercial purposes.
• Copying, distributing, modifying, creating derivative works, or commercially exploiting the Content without our prior written consent is prohibited.
• Materials marked as "Teacher Resources" may be downloaded and distributed for educational purposes, with attribution to the source.

3. User Obligations

You undertake to use the Platform legally and ethically, respecting the following obligations:

• Do not upload or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or that infringes on the rights of third parties.
• Do not attempt to access restricted areas of the Platform or interfere with its operation.
• Do not use the Platform to transmit spam or malware content.
• Provide accurate information upon registration and maintain the confidentiality of your account.

3.1. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. Notify us immediately at support@iquitos.net of any unauthorized use.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Iquitos shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.
• Content posted by users or third parties on the Platform.
• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of educational materials, although we strive to keep them up to date.

5. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Platform may contain links to external resources for additional study. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites. Accessing them is at your own risk.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or close your account and restrict access to the Platform, without prior notice, in case of violation of these Terms.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute will be resolved in the first instance by the competent courts in Romania.
